It is important never to underestimate the power of a healthy, beautiful smile. Aside from the obvious visual benefits, there are a number of reasons why investing in your teeth is a wise decision. Even so, many people are scared away by the cost of specialised orthodontic treatment and they often spend their lives never investing in their smile.
It is for this reason that practices like CONCELO have designed their offering to be affordable. Dr Zieg shares some reasons why people can actually afford braces:
1. Most medical aids will at least pay a portion of the treatment costs.
We all know medical aids can be sticky about dental work; however, most medical aids will cover at least a portion of orthodontic work, depending on your medical plan. It is advisable to always check these details with your medical aid provider. You may be pleasantly surprised.
2. Interest-free payment plans are available over 12 months
The option of payment plans means you can pay off your braces without added interest. This makes your investment must more attractive and easier on the budget. CONCELO, Invisible Braces by Dr Zieg, is proud to offer interest-free payment plans to patients.
3. Select braces that suit your budget
There are a variety of different types of braces available. Remember to explore the different treatment options with your orthodontist before making your decision.
CONCELO has provided payment plans to clients for many years and as a result has been able to make a difference to so many smiles. Contact CONCELO today and work with one of South Africa’s most favourite orthodontic teams. We believe in absolute transparency and trust with our clients.

But now the retainer is gone, and you may even oddly find yourself missing that “hurts-so-good” pressure you used to feel when you slipped them on. What can be done?
Hi Timmy, thank you for your comment. You could make an appointment to have the retainers replaced. It will involve having impressions taken to make a new mold if you don’t have the original mold anymore. Or you could bring the original mold along at the time of your appointment. If there has been no relapse and your teeth are still in the same position we could use the original mold which will save on costs. In the case of minor movement, it might be possible to make corrections by means of using an active retainer for a while and then a new retainer to keep the teeth straight again. Sometimes a partial treatment is indicated for a few months but let’s make an appointment and discuss all options.
